The story of MG began in the 1920s when Cecil Kimber, a sales manager at Morris Motors, established the Morris Garages company in Oxford, England. Initially, MG focused on modifying Morris cars, enhancing their performance and adding distinctive sporting touches. These modifications proved popular, and MG quickly gained a reputation for producing exciting and affordable sports cars.

In 1924, the MG 14/28 Super Sports became the first official MG-branded car. Its success laid the foundation for future MG models, which would become synonymous with open-top driving pleasure. One of the most iconic MGs of the era was the MG T-Series, including the MG TA, TB, TC, TD, and TF models.
